Research highlight is a summary of research findings that is prepared for a specific or targeted group(s) of readers. The Pharmaceutical Services Programme, Ministry of Health Malaysia recommends two formats of research highlights:
i. Two-page research highlight
ii. Four-page research highlight
The choice of research highlight formats depends on the preference, requirement or purpose of the researchers. For example, if the researchers intend to attract the targeted readers’ attention with more concise information, a two-page research highlight is recommended. On the other hand, if the researchers wish to provide more details about the study or have more messages to convey to the targeted readers, a four-page research highlight will be the choice.
