The National Regulatory Conference (NRC) 2026, jointly organised by the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) and the Malaysian Pharmacists Society (MPS), provides a national platform for regulators, healthcare professionals, policymakers, industry, researchers, and academia to exchange knowledge and discuss developments and challenges in the regulatory landscape. With the theme “RegTech: Driving Innovation and Efficiency in Regulatory,” the conference highlights the growing role of digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data analytics, blockchain, and cloud computing, in enhancing regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and transparency. The conference aims to support Malaysia’s regulatory transformation by promoting innovation, strengthening collaboration and strategic partnerships among stakeholders, and advancing digitalisation to establish a more efficient, agile, and future-ready regulatory ecosystem that continues to safeguard public health.
